Nikolaos Kanellopoulos, MD is board-certified in Family Practice by the American Board of Family Practice; Nikolaos Kanellopoulos, MD is with the Health First Medical Group in the Health First Medical Plaza on Merritt Island (use east entrance of the Pro-Health & Fitness Center Merritt Island Healthplex). He shares his practice with Family Medicine Physicians SkyHawk Fadigan, MD and Prerna Vijayvargiya, MD and Internal Medicine Physician, David Trevino, MD, who are also with Health First Medical Group.

Dr. Kanellopoulos was born and raised in Greece. He knew he wanted to become a physician at an early age because of the challenging nature of the medical field, where every decision matters and can make a huge difference in someone's life. He earned his Medical Degree from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He knew he wanted to practice medicine in the United States because of the excellent level of medical care. He completed his residency program at Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Kanellopoulos moved to Florida after residency to be in warmer weather and thought joining Health First offered him and his family a balanced opportunity, stability, and many resources.

Dr. Kanellopoulos professional interests include chronic conditions, diseases, and disabilities, diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and obesity. He is also interested in performing minor surgical and dermatological procedures. He is a firm believer in continuation of care and building trust with all of his patients that he makes it a point to not only examine his patients in his office but to follow through with their care if they are admitted to the hospital.

Dr. Kanellopoulos enjoys spending time with his family, reading, sports, swimming, and tennis. He is a member of the Health First Cape Canaveral Hospital medical staff.
