Deborah Morrison-Metz is an advanced registered nurse practitioner with Health First Medical Group with experience in hospital and community health administration.

Morrison-Metz earned her Master of Science as a clinical nurse specialist at Syracuse University in Syracuse, NY. She earned a certificate as a family nurse practitioner from State University of New York at Binghamton, NY and her Bachelor of Science in nursing from State University of New York at Stony Brook, NY.

Before arriving at Health First, Morrison-Metz was an ARNP at the Brevard Health Alliance in Melbourne, FL, serving as the lead provider for the medical and dental units. From 2013 to 2015, she served as the chief nursing officer and chief risk officer at the Brevard Health Alliance. Before that, she was an ARNP at Harris Corporation’s Urgent Care clinic in Palm Bay, FL. Morrison-Metz has also served as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Central Florida and as an education facilitator at Guthrie Healthcare System in Sayre, PA.

She is a clinical mentor at the University of Central Florida, Florida State University and Chamberlain College. Morrison-Metz is a member of the National Healthcare for the Homeless Council and Sigma Theta Tau.
